Ground squirrels can be one of the most damaging pests in San Diego. Ground squirrels forage near their burrows on plants, flowers, shrubs and trees. You may notice large mounds of dirt and a large opening often times hidden by grass or weeds. These large ground squirrel burrows present numerous hazards and risk of injury.
